It seems the residents of Cornwall are watching their carbon-footprint! We have sold lots of Peugeot iOn’s - the fully electric and eco-friendly vehicle - to the residents of Cornwall who have embraced electric motoring.
Johnny Hawkins, Director at Hawkins Motor Group believes the county’s rural location could have something to do with the iOn’s success.
“We are lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful places in the country...why not look after Cornwall?!”
It costs as little as £1.90 in electricity to run the iOn for 80 miles, and with no noise and zero tailpipe emissions, electric motoring makes a positive contribution to local air quality.
