Kia reveals pricing and specifications for MY27 PV5 Cargo line-up
Kia UK is proud to announce the expansion of its commercially focused PV5 Cargo line-up, with comprehensive MY27 (Model Year 2027) enhancements, and pricing updates across the range, including for the new Cargo L1/H1 for the first time.
PV5 Cargo L1/H1
The PV5 Cargo L1/H1 is purpose built for dense urban operations, where compact dimensions and agile handling matter most. Its shorter body houses over four cubic metres of usable load space, striking a balance between capacity and manoeuvrability for city-based logistics and service fleets.
Measuring 200mm shorter than the L2, the L1/H1 delivers a 4.0m3 (VDA) cargo volume - 0.4m3 less than the L2/H1 - and is available in the same streamlined 'Essential' and 'Plus' grades offered across the PV5 Cargo line-up.
UK customers will see familiar powertrain options too: Standard Range 51.5kWh and Long Range 71.2kWh batteries, mirroring its longer sibling. Driving range reaches up to 243 miles (WLTP Combined) for the larger battery, while the Standard Range offers up to 177 miles. Thanks to the L1/H1's smaller size, payload is slightly increased over the L2/H1, rising by 10kg up to a maximum of 800kg ('Essential', Standard Range, 3-door).
PV5 Cargo MY27 Updates
Kia's ongoing product enhancement programme brings a series of MY27 updates to the PV5 Cargo range. Driver comfort takes a noticeable step forward with standard lumbar support and a driver's height-adjustable armrest (two-seat configuration only). Cabin refinement also improves thanks to a new composite bulkhead, while three-seats becomes standard - initially exclusive to the Cargo L2/H1 - with two-seats a no-cost option. A redesigned short roof antenna lowers the vehicle's overall height to under 1.9 metres (1,899mm), improving access to height-restricted car parks.

Aside from the no-cost 2 or 3 seat option - initally only available on the Cargo L2/H1 - customers can further specify 'Essential' and 'Plus' grades with Premium Paint for £625 (+VAT). A choice of '3-door' or '4-door' variants are also available across both Cargo models, offering an additional sliding door for additional cargo area access, at a cost of £355 (+VAT). A Heat Pump option is now exclusive to the 'Plus' Long Range model, priced £650 (+VAT).
MY27 updates across the Cargo line-up and the new Cargo L1/H1 are available to order from 8 June at Hawkins PBV Centre. First customer deliveries are expected from October. Every PV5 comes with Kia's industry leading seven-year/100,000 miles warranty (eight years for high voltage battery pack).
More PV5 Variants
Later this year, Kia will expand the PV5 family beyond Cargo and Passenger. CArgo, Passenger and Crew made their debut ar the 2025 CV Show, while Chassis took its UK bow at this year's show. The recently revealed PV5 Cargo L2/H2 high roof model will be available later this year.

The PV5 range offers flexible body types that include Cargo, Passenger, Chassis, WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle), and Crew conversions. Despite only appearing in Kia PBV Centre showrooms in December 2025, the PV5 has already firmly established itself as a key player in the UK van market, while picking up a host of pretigious awards. Among teh highlights, the PV5 has already been named the outright 2026 'International Van of the Year' winner, along with being named 'Van of the Year' by Electriying.com, What Van?, Parkers and The Sun.
The PV5 Cargo also holds the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for 'The greatest distance travelled by a light-duty battery-powered electric van with maximum payload on a single charge', achieving 430.84 miles (693.38km).
